Join North Harbour’s Spring Fair This Week!

Not long now till our Spring Fair, this Saturday, September 16^th! We hope you’re looking forward to the day’s events which kick off at 2pm at the North Harbour Display Village.

Run times are below to help you plan your day, and make sure you drop into the North Harbour Sales and Information Centre when you arrive to grab your map and timetable of events. The North Harbour team and Display Village builders will also be on hand with balloons, bottles of water and heaps of freebies.

2pm: The day begins at 2pm with lots of free things to see and do including roving entertainment, music from The Ja Joint, trackless train rides, petting zoo, climbing wall and a jumping castle as well as food and drinks available to purchase. Rides will be available from 2.00pm to 6.00pm and food to 7.00pm.

3pm: Caboolture Touch Association footy demo

3:30pm: Farmyard Friends LIVE SHOW

4pm: Meet the Moreton Bay Lions Mascot, Rex

5pm: Dog Obedience demo

6pm: The Sing Movie: An absolute corker of a movie which parents and kids alike will love! Koala Buster Moon owns a once-grand theatre which has fallen on hard times. An eternal optimist, and a bit of a scoundrel, he loves his theatre above all and will do anything to preserve it. He hatches one final plan to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition. Five contestants emerge: a mouse, a timid elephant, a pig, a gorilla and a punk-rock porcupine. Please bring blankets and/or chairs – popcorn and water will be available

7:45pm: The evening’s event will finish with a big bang fireworks display

Commerce Caboolture: Commerce Caboolture’s vision is “To provide a sustainable business forum sharing knowledge, experience, and opportunity.” A valuable resource and networking group for business people in the region, Commerce Caboolture is holding its annual AGM and Networking Event this Wednesday at North Harbour.

The Abbey Museum of Art & Archaeology: North Harbour is a major sponsor of The Abbey Medieval Festival which is an annual event run by The Abbey Museum. The festival is the Abbey Museum’s premier event, and transforms our region into a medieval wonderland every July. The event includes authentic re-enactment camps, jousting, falconry and many more activities. North Harbour also partnered with The Abbey Museum to develop our upcoming heritage precinct. Leukaemia Support Queensland: If you’ve had a sausage sizzle at a North Harbour event, it will have been BBQed to perfection for you by the tireless volunteers of LSQ. LSQ raises money to provide those affected by blood cancer or a related blood disorder and their families with a range of free services and support. For more information see www.leukaemiaqld.org.au

The Burpengary Christmas Spectacular! As the name suggests, this is an annual Christmas event held at the Burpengary Hall and run by an amazing team of volunteers. It’s sure to bring Christmas cheer to the whole family with rides, free entertainment and market stalls, Christmas carols and awesome fireworks sponsored by North Harbour.
