If you’re a keen shopper, you’ll be pleased to know that North Harbour is well located for all the major shops, outlets and stores such as supermarkets and clothing retailers plus Costco, IKEA, Spotlight, Bunnings, BCF and so on within a 10-15 minute radius. But sometimes, you want something a little bit special and unique, and to support local, so we’ve put together a list of our must-visit Burpengary shops and shopping opportunities for your perusal. 

Art and crafts: Our community partners, The Artisan’s Guild of Caboolture and District, is located on the corner of Old Bay Road and Maitland Street in Burpengary East. This beautiful space offers plenty of art and craft to enjoy in the gallery, as well as opportunities to purchase original works at very reasonable prices. This is a great place to find unique gifts, all created by the wonderful members of the Guild. The team also displays their work at shopping centres around Moreton Bay, so keep an eye out for these shopping opportunities when you’re out and about to grab yourself a one of a kind bargain.

Plants: Whether you’re a keen gardener, avid pot plant owner, or wanting something for your window sill, CREEC (the Caboolture Region Environmental Education Centre) is well worth a visit. CREEC is situated across a stunning 18 hectares of parklands and open space next to Burpengary Creek. On site is an administration building with auditorium, a community nursery which is a great place to buy your own seedlings and plants, playgrounds, BBQ, walking and interpretive trails. It is located approximately 40 km north of Brisbane on Rowley Road at Burpengary and is definitely one of the very best things to do in Burpengary.

Markets: Burpengary Market is a weekly market selling everything from fruit and vegetables to pet products, hand crafted items, fresh donuts, Tupperware, locally roasted coffee and (our absolute favourite) special roasted chilli coffee, giftware, candles, special products and creations and so much more. Burpengary Markets has a lovely atmosphere and is a great place to shop whilst enjoying a local coffee and a treat!

Gifts: Every Friday and Saturday from 4pm till late, over 30 flavour makers open their doors at Bite Markets offering you the perfect place to eat, drink and spend time with friends and family. As well as flavour makers offering food and beverages from around the world, Bite has gift shops selling kids toys and treats, chocolates, crystals, jewellery and pet products. Plus, nightly live entertainment and a children’s play zone as well as throwing some of the best Burpengary events! 

A great place to shop and sup, Bite is a short 3 minutes from the North Harbour Sales Centre at Exit 150 off the Bruce Highway on Nolan Drive.

Treats: Aldo’s Patisserie is located at The Hub in Burpengary East. This tempting treat purveyor opened in late 2021 and offers stunning desserts, pastries and custom items as well as coffee, sweets and savoury delights with a taste of Italy. Well worth a visit with friends and family for a catch up or solo treat, it’s also a great place for edible shopping if you want to gift someone with a unique item, bring a plate of goodies to a get together or take treats home! Jewellery: Located at Burpengary Plaza, home of many Burpengary shops, Jade Jewellers is an independent jewellers which creates beautiful pieces and offers excellent customer service. Find North Harbour

North Harbour’s Sales and Information Centre and Display Village are open seven days a week, 10am-5pm.
