Childcare in Burpengary East
North Harbour’s first childcare centre, Edge Early Learning North Harbour, is located on Fraser Drive and provides care for children aged from 6 weeks to school age.
Edge Early Learning is a high-quality full-service childcare provider, making this a great choice for parents looking for childcare in the Burpengary area. Edge offers:
Safe and Sustainable Burpengary Childcare
The North Harbour centre was one of the first centres within the Edge network to provide children with eco-friendly nappies and wipes, which formed part of the company’s move towards sustainability. Made from 100% pure bamboo, these eco-friendly products are completely biodegradable.
Edge Early Learning Chief Executive Officer, Annie Bryce, said the move to switch over to sustainable products is one of the company’s priorities. “We have been planning to switch to more sustainable products for quite some time. These products are completely natural, which is perfect for children with sensitive skin, and they’re also good for the environment.”
As part of the initiative to move toward sustainability, Edge Early Learning also swapped to plant-based cleaning products and include end-to-end recycling programs in all centres. The team has also incorporated vegetable gardens, worm farms and compost bins into their educational programs to help teach children about the importance of sustainability.
