Capturing memories in your new-build home

Kayla

Photography doesn’t feel like a job for Kayla Temple. But that hasn’t stopped her from dedicating three bedrooms in her new-build at North Harbour to her studio and office space.

The veteran photographer is currently building her ideal home and says that, when deciding where to buy and build, there were a few areas she looked at but North Harbour stood out.

“The sales staff were extremely friendly and super inviting,” Kayla said. “They had a great vibe that made me want to be involved and mentioned there are a lot of young families buying in North Harbour which are the kind of people I want to be around.

“The rapid growth and number of projects in the works is exciting and the thought of living near a harbour was very inviting.”

She first started photography when she was in school completing work experience with a high-end studio and receiving employment with the same company after school.

She fell in love with wedding photography and turned that into the main passion of her business 12 years later.

“A lot of my business is wedding photography, but I really enjoy capturing all aspects of life.

“I love following along on your journey. It’s honestly the best feeling when I meet couples and capture their special day then they reach out to let me know they are pregnant and I get to capture their; gender reveal, maternity, baby photos and be there for all their milestones.”

Moving to North Harbour, Kayla will be able to photograph those special events for the more than 3000 residents that are currently living in the community. There are plenty of wonderful locations around the estate with a great variety of manicured parkland and playground as well as bushland, creek lines and wetlands throughout the landscape. The abundant green space provides all kinds of opportunitiesto explore and use as great backdrops for photo shoots.

Kayla says she has recently branched out and found a love for business branding.

“It’s new and exciting and I love helping small businesses like mine grow and expand into this new world that is very digital and image-orientated,” she said. “You would be surprised at how much revenue good imagery can make you and obviously help you stand out in a saturated market.”

This is great news for businesses who will be looking to move into the North Harbour Business Park, which is making rapid progress. Infrastructure delivery has been underway for over a year, including the construction of a new arterial road which will provide easy access to the Bruce Highway at Buchanan Road (Interchange 150).  .

This infrastructure readies North Harbour’s next development area, including the anticipated delivery of the first stages of North Harbour Business Park in mid-2024.  North Harbour Business Park is projected to introduce more than 6000 new jobs to the region, contributing to the Moreton Bay Regional Council’s goal of 100,000 new jobs by 2041.

Kayla will enjoy becoming part of the community and reaching out to potential client as the North Harbour development grows.

She will be able to help families and business capture their moments.

“Freezing time and capturing memories for people that they can look back on forever and remember how they were feeling in that moment. That is what I enjoy.”
