Bite Markets at North Harbour is held every Friday and Saturday from 4pm-late when 30 flavour makers open their doors offering you the perfect place to eat, drink, shop and spend time with friends and family. And, if that isn’t enough, as well as Bite’s delicious flavour makers offering food and beverages from around the world, Bite has nightly live entertainment and a children’s play zone with jumping castles and plenty of space for kids to enjoy. Bite is a short 3 minutes from the North Harbour Sales Centre at Exit 150 off the Bruce Highway on Nolan Drive. 

Bite Markets is also home to epic Burpengary Events from annual celebrations such as Christmas Markets, Mother’s Day and Halloween, and the team also throws great events including Family Festival Show Weekends with rides and show bags galore, paint and sip evenings, toy drives and so much more. 

Bite Christmas Markets

In fact, you can jump in your sleigh and head over to Bite Markets at North Harbour for two nights of festive fun stalls on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th December.

Bite’s Christmas Markets will bring an additional 30 stalls selling all things Christmas to let you get all your Christmas shopping done whilst supporting local businesses. With a large variety of craft and artisan stalls, in addition to the regular line-up of tasty food and drink vendors, it’s guaranteed to be a fun weekend out with the whole family.

The sleigh bells will be ringing from 4pm to late each day of this weekend at Bite Markets at North Harbour, just 12 minutes from North Lakes and 25 minutes from Brisbane’s northern suburbs. Adding to the tree-mendous Christmas fun is the special North Harbour Christmas Carols spectacular featuring performances by Opera Queensland and Carmichael College Choir at 5:30pm and 7:30pm on Saturday December 11th.

North Harbour Project Director Bryan Finney said the family-friendly event at Bite Markets really is  Claus for celebration.

“The markets are a great way for locals to enjoy the holiday season with a night full of entertainment and festivities suitable for all ages,” Mr Finney said.

“With so much open space at North Harbour, you can relax and shop from a range of local stallholders, without battling for a car park, and enjoy the delicious food that is here every weekend at Bite Markets.

“We are also really excited to be welcoming Opera Queensland, and students from Carmichael College for a very special Christmas performance. This is a night you don’t want to miss.”

The Christmas markets will have something for everyone and if you’re lucky, you might even win a contribution Christmas dinner for you and the family! Everyone who registers to attend Christmas Carols at North Harbour on Eventbrite by 4pm on Friday, 10th December, will go into the draw to win one of the exciting prizes.  On offer are vouchers to spend at Burpengary Butchers, Saviges Seafood and Bite. Winners will be announced at 7pm on Saturday, December 11th at Bite Markets.

Weekends at North Harbour

As well as our larger events, there are several Burpengary events every weekend including two at North Harbour. 

North Harbour parkrun: North Harbour parkrun is held at 7am, every Saturday. North Harbour parkrun is a free 5km cross country run/ walk around North Harbour Heritage Park along the Caboolture River. Access is from the end of Moreton Bay Boulevard next to Habitat Park and the mountain bike trail is open every day, 6am to sunset. There are also bike paths and walking trails around the Heritage Park BBQ and picnic shelters.  

Sunrise Yoga in the Park: This free, outdoor yoga class is held in North Harbour Heritage Park every Sunday at 7:30am. This class is suitable for all ages and levels including beginners.

North Harbour’s Sales and Information Centre & Display Village is open seven days a week, 10am-5pm (please note we are closed from December 23rd 2021 to January 4th 2022).
