Orbit Homes is Building Two Stunning Homes in North Harbour’s Brand New Display Village

Orbit has been working with North Harbour for many years and is one of our experienced and valuable builder partners. Having created two of North Harbour Display Village’s most stunning display homes, the single storey Chevron 32 and the overwhelmingly impressive double storey Sorrento 398, the team is back to work their magic again in our third Display Village! These two new homes will be available to visit by appointment from mid-March 2022 and the team will also be having some “open home” style viewings so make sure you keep an eye on our socials for up to date information on openings. 

 

Orbit Homes has already built two of North Harbour Display Village’s most stunning display homes in our current Display Village. Never has the term “wow factor” been more appropriate than when visitors see the single storey Chevron 32 and the overwhelmingly impressive double storey Sorrento 398.  The Sorrento 398 is now closed but the Chevron 32 will be open until mid March 2022 and you can walk through online, on our website. Reforestation & Rehabilitation

Tree Planting

The original North Harbour site had many incarnations prior to its present-day identity, and many of these uses caused the land to be cleared i.e. sugar plantation, farming and so on (read more about previous land uses here). North Harbour has 9km of river frontage to the Caboolture River, and it is proposed that on completion of development, this be open to the public and protected as a wildlife corridor. In order to do this we need to reforest and rehabilitate the area by planting native trees and shrubs to encourage the creation of wildlife habitat which can become sustainable. So far, we have planted over 100,000 trees and by the end of the project will have planted hundreds of thousands more.  

As part of our community partnership initiatives and dedication to environmental excellence, we have held regular Tree Planting Days to allow our community to take part in reforesting an area along the Caboolture River. Local families have had the opportunity to plant some trees they’ll be able to come back and see for years to come.
