Best Christmas Homes in Caboolture

We know Queenslanders love a good set of Christmas lights and our region really goes all out at this time of year with plenty of homes in Burpengary East, Caboolture, Morayfield and Deception Bay making the “must see” lists for 2017.

Families magazine has compiled some great lists with maps and addresses of the best Christmas light shows around – all free and fun to look at, for kids of all ages! https://www.familiesmagazine.com.au/christmas-lights-brisbane/

Our North Harbour community is getting into the Christmas spirit too, can’t wait to see what they come up with!

North Harbour parkrun A Great Success

Christmas Homes in Caboolture

The first North Harbour parkrun was held on Saturday 25th November with runners setting off at 7am. This launch is a big event for Queensland parkrun and the Commonwealth Games Legacy Program as the North Harbour parkrun is the first Queensland site to benefit from The Embracing 2018 Legacy Program’s partnership with parkrun to bring 20 new sites to Australia. The brand-new parkrun locations will be rolled out in the lead-up to the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018).

The North Harbour parkrun coordinator Connie Isherwood said, “Thank you to all who came along to the launch. 222 people ran or walked the course with 35 people attending parkrun for the very first time. Welcome to the parkrun family. There were also a further 30 spectators and volunteers at the launch.

I have been Co-Event Director of Central Lakes parkrun since its inception (December 2015) and have seen that community develop into a vibrant, inclusive and encouraging one. People meet together, create and foster new friendships and discover a sense of belonging and purpose. Everyone who participates, or volunteers always enjoys parkrun. It quite simply changes lives.

This is what I want for North Harbour parkrun and for the local community. The best thing is, you don’t have to be a seasoned runner to take part. Young and old, walkers and runners. It’s all about your own personal health and fitness journey.

North Harbour parkrun showcases the history and beautiful natural parklands in the area and will encourage people to take their first step towards a healthier lifestyle and to engage within the local community.”

The North Harbour parkrun is a free off-road run, located in the future public park along the beautiful Caboolture River. It’s a great chance to experience this environment as well as the Moray Fields Heritage Precinct.

Thank you to everyone who attended the North Harbour parkrun launch and a particular thank you to Connie and her team of volunteers who made the launch event so successful,” said Peter Lightbody, North Harbour Project Director.

It’s a great way to keep fit and healthy in a beautiful location along Caboolture River”.

North Harbour parkrun is held every Saturday, the run starts at 7am with the briefing held at 6:45am.

If you’re unsure about whether a new build is for you make sure you visit as many homes as possible to get an idea of what you need. Building a new home in a masterplanned development like North Harbour is a great way to use the First Home Buyers Grant to its full potential. North Harbour ticks all the boxes for a great investment in your future – excellent location and local amenities, 1,000 acres of open space and parklands and plenty of free local events.

Located between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, North Harbour also offers great highway access, the fastest broadband speed in Australia and reticulated gas to each home.

The northside of Brisbane is growing at a rapid rate and our suburb of Burpengary East is benefitting from a lot of excellent local planning. We’ve got everything on our doorstep: a medical centre and shops at the Hub (2 minutes away), a brand-new shopping centre (including Kmart and Woolies) at Burpengary, plus Aldi and Coles and a variety of great places to shop and eat five minutes away, a wide selection of global stores such as Costco and IKEA 10-15 minutes away, a new university campus arriving in 2020 at Petrie (20-25 minutes away) and regular road and transport upgrades offering employment and excellent local amenities. North Harbour gives First Home Buyers an amazing opportunity to move into a brand-new home in an excellent location for a great price rather than focussing on older houses for sale which may need additional work after purchase.

Why build? Well building your first home means you can get exactly what you need from the start of your home owning journey. No need to spend on renovations or competing against other buyers – just choose your house and land package and get ready to move into the northside’s best new development. There are lots of designs to choose from, as you’ll see from our Display Village of 35 homes, with a lot of exciting styles and layouts on offer.

We appreciate that buying your first home can be a difficult and overwhelming process, so we aim to make it as painless as possible for you. Our sales team is on site 7 days a week, 10am-5pm and we’re happy to answer any questions you have and walk you through the process step-by-step. We have a coffee machine and bottled water to restore you after you’ve viewed the many show homes on offer, there’s plenty of space to sit and discuss options and even a place for kids to play while you have a chat. We’ve also put together a special web page for First Home Buyers complete with mortgage calculator and house and land packages geared towards first home owners, here.

When you’re looking to buy we suggest a few visits to our Display Village and Sales Centre armed with a list of your “must-haves”, “would-likes” and “absolutely-nots” firmly in your mind. If you’re not sure what you’re after, have a read of this great guide which might help crystallise your thinking.

We have 35 Display Homes in our Display Village from 14 local and national builders: Metricon, McLachlan, McDonald Jones, Stylemaster, Hallmark, Integra, Homes by CMA, Bold, Simonds, Coral, Pantha, Valeco, Sunvista and GJ Gardner.
