FINAL COUNTDOWN FOR FIRST HOME BUYERS GRANT!

If you’re looking for a new home and you qualify as a First Home Buyer then get in quick – the countdown is on with just 70 days to get your contract signed to be eligible! The First Home Buyers Grant is currently a huge $20,000 but only until 30 June 2017. Provided by the State Government, the First Home Buyers Grant is a one-off financial grant only available to those buying their first home in Australia who meet all the eligibility criteria.

Eligible recipients must be:

 at least 18 years old
– purchasing a new property under $750,000
– an Australian Citizen or permanent resident
– receiving the grant for the first time

First Home Buyers and Families Look to Booming Real Estate Market in Burpengary East

In this week’s Blog we’re going to introduce you to North Harbour’s suburb of Burpengary East and reveal why Real Estate in this booming area is a great investment.

As I’ve mentioned a few times, Burpengary East was recently named as one of the top suburbs to get “best bang for your buck” in the Brisbane area by Channel 9. It is also one of Domain Group Chief Economist Andrew Wilson’s top nine Real Estate suburb picks for 2017 where he noted that buyers could expect strong returns on investment and vendors could expect strong interest in their properties. 

Mr Wilson chose Real Estate Burpengary East because of strong growth over the past few years, high sales, and high demand. Real Estate Burpengary East benefits from close access to the highway, excellent amenities and a strong community.

There is a lot happening in the wider Burpengary area which is great news for our residents and adds to the attraction for people choosing to buy Real Estate in Burpengary. The Burpengary Plaza (located about 5 minutes’ drive from North Harbour) is currently receiving a major $38 million upgrade and extension which will add 9697sq m of floor space, including 30 new speciality stores and a 6700sq m Kmart, as well as 350 new car spaces. Also, the existing 3645sq m Woolworths supermarket will be fully refurbished by the supermarket chain to incorporate their latest store design and features.

De Luca Development and Construction project manager Kai Schimkat said the opening was expected to be in July. “Everyone has been really patient with all the work going on. It has been well received,” Mr Schimkat said.

As I said in last fortnight’s Shopping-centric Blog, North Harbour and Burpengary East are also just 10 minutes from shopping giants Costco and Ikea and both North Lakes Westfield and Morayfield Westfield shopping centres. Both with excellent facilities and both are big employers in the region.

Burpengary East has its own shopping complex of course, “The HUB”, which includes Bakery, Fish & Chips, Bottle-o, Butcher, Steak Restaurant, Pizza shop, Childcare Centre, Spice Shop, Hair Dresser & Beautician, IGA, Dentist, Accountant and Medical Centre which is 10 minutes’ walk or 1 minute drive from North Harbour.

According to Moreton Bay Regional Council, the wider region is expected to be home to more than 620,000 residents by 2036 and Burpengary will be a major hub for future growth which is a great reason to get into Real Estate Burpengary for anyone looking to move or purchase their first home.

The area is much loved as a fantastic place to bring up kids with lots of space and amenities as well as still being able to hop on train and head into city for a night out or drive 1/2 hour up to Caloundra for a day at the beach with a picnic. There is a lot to do locally with weekly markets, plenty of sporting Clubs and venues, parks and community events and groups to join.
