Edge Early Learning North Harbour Offers High Quality, Safe, Local Childcare

Edge Early Learning North Harbour

Edge Early Learning

North Harbour’s first childcare centre, Edge Early Learning North Harbour, opened in February 2020 and is a brand-new, quality childcare centre.

The educational program that Edge Early Learning offers is called “inquiry based”. The inquiry based learning program is all about active learning where the team starts by posing questions, problems or scenarios to trigger curiosity and encourage the children to investigate their findings. This type of learning is particularly beneficial in developing communication skills and gives children the opportunity to develop stronger relationships with their peers, which is excellent for their confidence and preparation towards starting school.

Very popular with both residents and visitors, the Village Park has become the centre of North Harbour’s community playing host to many events, birthday parties, playdates, boot camps and more.

Reflections Park is located on the south-western side of North Harbour near the Raff Creek Environmental Corridor. Edge Early Learning Chief Executive Officer, Annie Bryce, said the move to switch over to sustainable products is one of the company’s priorities. “We have been planning to switch to more sustainable products for quite some time. As part of the initiative to move toward sustainability, Edge Early Learning has also swapped to plant-based cleaning products and include end-to-end recycling programs in all centres.
