North Harbour’s first childcare centre, Edge Early Learning North Harbour, opened in February 2020 and is a brand-new, quality childcare centre.
The educational program that Edge Early Learning offers is called “inquiry based”. The inquiry based learning program is all about active learning where the team starts by posing questions, problems or scenarios to trigger curiosity and encourage the children to investigate their findings. This type of learning is particularly beneficial in developing communication skills and gives children the opportunity to develop stronger relationships with their peers, which is excellent for their confidence and preparation towards starting school.
Located on the corner of Buckley Road and Fraser Drive at the entrance to North Harbour, Edge Early Learning North Harbour provides quality care for children aged from 6 weeks to school age. The team is accepting enrolments and is running normal service in line with Covid regulations.
Edge Early Learning is a full-service kids early learning centre and services include:

North Harbour is a great spot for families to enjoy as it has the largest area devoted to open space and parklands of any development within the northern corridor (the area between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast). Our open space and parklands will span 1000 acres on completion of the development (five parks are already open with more scheduled to open in the next two years).
The Village Park is located in Moreton Bay Boulevard, close to Normanby Crescent in the centre of the development. It incorporates two areas of play equipment to suit both older children and pre-schoolers and has free Wi-Fi, shelters, drinking fountains (for people and pets) and BBQs on 6000m2 of beautifully landscaped space. Very popular with both residents and visitors, the Village Park has become the centre of North Harbour’s community playing host to many events, birthday parties, playdates, boot camps and more.
Reflections Park is located on the south-western side of North Harbour near the Raff Creek Environmental Corridor. Reflections also includes play equipment aimed at young children, exercise equipment, BBQs and shelters. Reflections is also home to Sunday Sunrise Yoga in the Park, which is a free yoga class, suitable for all ages held every Sunday at 7am in Summer, 8am in Winter.
Habitat Park includes two off-leash dog exercise areas, play equipment, a wetlands area with bird hide and shelters, BBQs and fitness equipment.
