Do You Live & Breathe Sports? Then You Will Live & Breathe North Harbour!

September 10, 2016

G’day North Harbour fans! And by fans I mean fans of all things sport – yes, this week’s blog is all about living the sporting life at North Harbour.

What does North Harbour have to do with sport you may well ask? Well, in a nutshell, lots! As part of our commitment to making North Harbour the best, most liveable place to buy house and land packages on the northside we’re planning to create a sports complex with sports fields where teams of all ages can enjoy getting outside and kicking the ball about. Or hitting it, or throwing it…whatever the game may be.

As I’ve previously mentioned, North Harbour will have the largest area devoted to open space and parks within the northern corridor and, upon completion, will offer residents 1000 acres of open space and parklands. Just to paint the picture for you, with an area of 420 Ha, the North Harbour open space will be larger than Central Park in New York (341 Ha) and the combined Hyde Park / Kensington Gardens in London (253 Ha). That’s a lot of space for each member of the family to head outside and get amongst it whether it be an Australia Day BBQ and cricket match or a game of social tennis.

And when you head inside you won’t miss a moment of your favourite sport on TV. Each home at North Harbour (and even the free Wi-Fi in the park) has access to state of the art, fibre optic network capable of speeds up to 1Gb per second from a broad range of Internet Service Providers. (This is equal to the fastest broadband in Australia). More than enough speed to mean that whatever the event you can watch on whatever you want to watch it on, in whatever room of the house you want to watch it in.

We’ve got everything covered for the sports fan at home. Each house has the option of tapping into underground reticulated gas. No more missing the start of the game while you run to the servo to change the gas bottle over for the lads night BBQ. You can even hook up your TV in the outside area and have the world’s best sports bar in your own back yard! Or watch the game while you chill in the pool/ spa with a beer in your hand.

And, if you fancy heading out to watch the game, there’s no better local venue than the Caboolture Sports Club located a short drive from North Harbour. From somewhat humble the beginnings, the Caboolture Sports Club has grown to become the region’s premier community club complete with a swag of awards to its name.
The club was founded in February 1994 when six local sporting groups – Softball, Touch Football, Cricket, Dog Obedience, Soccer and Rugby Union – collectively formed a single incorporation and Caboolture Sports Club Inc was born.

The group’s aim was to provide ‘a welcoming, safe and friendly club environment with quality sporting facilities in our shire’, and on December 9, 1997 the six sporting clubs’ dream was realised when the Caboolture Sports Club at Station Road, Morayfield, officially opened its doors to the public.

Throughout its history, the Caboolture Sports Club has experienced rapid growth to both its sporting and general membership base, however, the club continues to be driven by the core values that brought it into existence in the 1990s.

Proud to be a not for profit organisation, Caboolture Sports Club provides assistance back into the local community through its various sponsorship programs. Each year the Club gives more than $1 million in both cash and in kind support to a wide range of local community service groups, sporting clubs, individuals, and charities.
Caboolture Sports Club is also the perfect venue for the whole family. Take the kids with you and have a great meal while you enjoy the game. Or drop them over to the Kids club so you can watch it uninterrupted or catch up with mates.

The Club goes all out for big events such as the upcoming AFL Grand Final Party on October 1st. from 12pm. Live action on the 100″ Big Screen, plus free footy snacks at half time and free entry! http://www.cabsports.com.au/terrace/afl-grand-final-part/ There’s even a courtesy bus to get you home safe and sound.

So, sports fans, to sum up – North Harbour has land for sale at Burpengary and it’s a champion place to live. I could keep offering up bad sports puns but in the long run (sorry) you’re better off backing the winning team and checking out our house and land packages in this premiership location. (I can’t actually stop myself).

North Harbour Sales Office & Display Village is open seven days a week, 10am-5pm (excluding public holidays). For more information regarding available land for sale at Burpengary or to make an appointment call Aidan on 5433 1111, email .
