The HomeBuilder Grant is a new grant from the Federal Government which is designed to help the construction and building industry in Australia. The $25,000 HomeBuilder Grant is not just for first home buyers, it is available to all eligible Australians, who are building rather than buying an established home. The First Home Owners Grant

The First Home Owners Grant is a $15,000 one-off financial grant available if you are building your first home in Australia and meet all the eligibility criteria.

Eligible recipients must be:

– at least 18 years old and an Australian Citizen or permanent resident
– purchasing a brand-new property under $750,000
–– receiving the grant for the first time

Both Grants offer a great way to help build on your savings. Also make sure you check out what special offers builders have available, some offer packages with upgrades which can help you stretch your budget that little bit further. And, of course, always make sure to check what you can afford with an experienced mortgage broker before you get started on building your first home.
