“As part of the celebration we’ve organized a show starring the Minions (with an opportunity for a meet and greet), a petting zoo, rides and fireworks as well as entertainment from Adam Power and The Theory.

“It should be a wonderful family day and a great opportunity for us to welcome everyone to North Harbour.”

The Grand Opening will commence at 11am and everyone will have the opportunity to explore the new homes on site as well as the Village Park. North Harbour will be providing a free sausage sizzle and there will be multiple food and beverage options made available for purchase including coffee, wood fire pizza and ice cream. The evening will conclude at 5.45pm with a fireworks show.

About North Harbour

North Harbour will introduce a new destination into the Moreton Bay Region – one that will take shape over the next 15 years as part of the significant growth projected for the local area.
North Harbour offers a unique residential development in the rapidly expanding northern corridor between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. North Harbour will encompass a residential community based around a proposed marina with direct access to Moreton Bay (subject to government to government approvals).

Situated on the banks of the Caboolture River, North Harbour will establish a new benchmark in living. A wide variety of living options will be available. North Harbour will feature numerous benefits for residents including a variety of lot sizes including large frontages, 420Ha of open space, 9 kilometres of frontage to the Caboolture River, high speed fibre broadband and natural gas to every home.

The overall project is forecast to deliver 2150 resident homes, 170 Ha Business Park, marina and marina village, with the creation of a forecast 27,150 jobs and $52 billion of economic benefit for the region.

The project site also contains the heritage listed “Moray Fields” homestead site, which was the first European settlement in the area and dates from 1861. These remains contain significant areas of cultural heritage, which are proposed to become a publicly accessible interpretive centre.
