North Harbour Homes Offer Landlords, Tenants Worry-Free Experience

April 24, 2023

Buying New vs Renovating

A worry free experience is what everyone wants when renting out their property. At North Harbour Homes we take great pride in ensuring that we manage each property and tenancy as if it were our very own.

This new property management company is an extension of the already thriving North Harbour development by Port Binnli at Burpengary East.

With more than 3000 residents in the development, an impressive seven parks and recreation spaces, and an industrial precinct under construction, it was an obvious choice to expand into property management.

We are on the ground and able to offer the best service to our clients.

Introducing Belinda McMahon, property manager

Belinda

And this will be done with a professional property manager, Belinda McMahon, who has been in the industry for more than 20 years.

Belinda has worked in various roles within the property management industry and had gained valuable experience to provide clients with the best level of service available to them.

Belinda says that she has acquired a wealth of knowledge through hard work and dedication to the property management industry.

“Property Management is something that I enjoy, and I constantly strive to provide great customer service, and attention to detail to ensure that all landlords and tenants are happy with their rental experience.”

When Belinda began her career, she said she met many people and was able to hear their stories, as to what their next step in the property market was and how she could help them.

“This was when I realised property management was the career path I wanted to follow,” she said.

A large portion of Belinda’s  time has been spent as a senior property manager of a large rent roll on Brisbane’s northside. Here, she oversaw the day-to-day management required to ensure that the division ran smoothly and in line with the constantly changing legislation.

“I love that no two days are ever the same, I love meeting new people and showing them that this is my passion and not just a job.”

She has now taken on her new role with North Harbour with enthusiasm in a region that she is already familiar with.

“At North Harbour, we are about building relationships with our clients to ensure that we are working in their best interest. After all, it is a large investment that requires the right team to help you make fully informed decisions.

The Agency Licensee will be North Harbour’s CFO, Jo Simes.  Jo has worked with the Port Binnli Group for more than 25 years.

“We are very proud of the North Harbour development, and we enjoy seeing the community growing and thriving,” Jo said. “A key part of that is ensuring that owners are supported and can trust their investments are well maintained and that tenants have a positive experience as residents at North Harbour.”

She says  that you will be personally supported by the team behind the new company.

“We want to reassure property owners that having an investment property is not stressful if you have the right property manager working for you.

“We are thrilled to have someone of Belinda’s calibre on the team.  It is a natural progression for North Harbour to offer this value-added service providing committed local property management services as we already have strong connections within the area and a desire to see it succeed.”

Relationship building is a key to the success of property management and with the established association North Harbour has already built will enable Belinda and the team to strive for best for all property owners.

At North Harbour, we will help find the best property management solutions that fulfill all the needs of our investors. We are committed to building long-term relationships and giving the support required.

Tips and Tricks for property owners

North Harbour Homes

When you are preparing your home for the rental market, remember that the way you present the property is critical. It is an indicator of how your property manager will ensure it is kept by the tenants during their tenancy and at the final inspection.

The entry condition report is crucial when a tenant is vacating.  These reports can take time due to the detail noted in both written material and photos. The report plays a vital part in the vacating process and how your property is expected to be returned by the tenant at the end of a tenancy.  The right property manager can take up to 1000 plus photos of a property depending on the size and condition of the property.

Marketing is so important – you cannot rent a secret! Advertising your property on various platforms will provide you with a larger pool of prospective tenants that will want to view your home. It therefore, provides you with more choices when the time comes to approve a suitable application.
